Raffle & Bingo Licensing Information
Please review the following steps when applying for a Raffle or Bingo License:

Review the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission Rules and Regulations N.J.A.C.13:47

Prepare & notarize four (4) applications for each game. Applications can be found here.

Prepare & notarize one (1) Affidavit: Statement of Good Moral Character for each member listed on Parts E & F of the application.

Calculate the fees for each game. All fees shall be paid, by check, to both the NJ LGCCC and to the Borough of Emerson.

Plan accordingly: Submit your application a minimum of eight (8) weeks prior to your event and a maximum of one (1) year for timely processing.

There is a mandatory 14 day waiting period once the application is sent to the LGCCC for review before the clerk's office can issue a license.
- Display the Gambling Problem Poster conspicuously at your event.

Submit a Report of Operations, with additional fees if applicable, by the 15th day of the month following the event. For Off-Premises raffles, you must also submit a Printer Certificate to the LGCCC along with your Report of Operations.
