Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 10am-9pm

Does the Library offer story time and craft programs for children?
Yes! Please visit the Library website at emersonlibrary.org and click on Programs and Kids Programs for story time hours and children’s programming.
Do I need to come into the Library to sign up for programs?
Of course we’d like to see you, but online registration is available at our website: emersonlibrary.org. For children’s programming, please click on Programs and Kids Programs, for adult programming, please click on Programs then Adult Programs.
How can I find out about Library programs and events?
All Library programs are listed on our website under Calendar and under Programs. You may also call the Library.
How do I apply for a Library card?
You can apply for a card online. Visit: https://catalog.bccls.org/polaris/patronaccount/selfregister.aspx?ctx=31. We will mail you your new card. You can also apply in person at the library. Be sure to bring your valid NJ driver's license, photo ID, deed, lease agreement, and/or bill with proof of Emerson residence with you.
Can I renew materials on line?
Yes, go to the Library’s website to Your Card/Renew Items at the bottom of the page. You will need your library barcode number and password. To obtain a password, please visit us at the Library and bring your Library card with you.
Can I check out eBooks?
Yes,visit our website, hover over Technology Help and select Help with Ebooks to get started borrowing ebooks from eBCCLS.
Does the Library have public meeting rooms?
Yes, the Meeting Room Policy and Application form are located at our website. Hover over About and then click on Using the Meeting Rooms.
