Recycling and Garbage
A recent fire at the Atlantic Coast Fibers plant in Passaic (article here) highlighted the dangers of leaving rechargeable lithium ion batteries in recycled material. To prevent this happening in the future Call2Recycle, announced a partnership with the Association of New Jersey Recyclers (ANJR), the Association of New Jersey Household Hazardous Waste Coordinators (ANJHHWC), and Recycle Coach to increase awareness around safe handling of consumer batteries.
